Types of Educational Applications That Can Be Used to Address Automaticity/Math Fact Fluency

To address automaticity and math fact fluency is an important skill. Students who struggle with this skill can use the following to help them:

o   Addition and multiplication charts
o   FASTT Math: a math intervention program that helps students acquire math fact fluency. The program assesses students’ command of basic facts by measuring response time and then generates customized activities based on the results.
o   Timez Attack: focuses solely on multiplication facts, teaching the 2 to 12 times tables. A free Base Version is available for download and a Full Version can be purchased, however both versions are fully functional.

o   ArithmAttack: can be played online or downloaded free to your computer and played off-line. Students can practice basic addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division facts. Customized problem sets are available for creation as well.
