IEP for Johnny
Present Level of Academic Achievement and Functional
Performance:
Johnny uses his right hand to write and to physically
position his left arm and hand. He has difficulty managing papers as he writes.
He collects and utilizes a lap tray, incline board, non-slip mat, and modified
clipboard but often waits for staff to set up modifications.
Annual Goal:
Given a lap tray, incline board, non-slip mat, or modified
clipboard in an assessable place in the classroom, Johnny will set up his
modifications independently within 3 minutes of being directed to do so with
90% accuracy for 4/5 trials.
This device would help Johnny by allowing him to position is hand and arm correctly for writing, as well as his papers.
